Welcome to Sartorial! By using our platform to rent beautiful South Asian outfits, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using Sartorial’s website and services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use Sartorial. By registering, you confirm that you meet these criteria.

3. Account Registration To rent or list outfits, you must create an account with accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activities under your account.

4. Listing and Renting Out Clothes Owners who list items must ensure all garments are authentic, clean, and in good condition.

Sartorial is a peer-to-peer platform: owners rent their personal clothes to renters. Sartorial is not the owner or seller of the items.

Owners set rental prices, durations (4, 8, or 16 days), and availability via our calendar system.

Owners are responsible for the timely delivery and return of their garments.

5. Renting Clothes Renters agree to rent items only for lawful purposes and to handle garments with care.

Renters must provide accurate measurements before renting, as South Asian clothing sizing can differ from standard sizing. Sartorial recommends measuring yourself carefully and consulting the measurements provided on each listing.

Rental durations and fees are as listed. Payment is processed securely through Sartorial’s payment system.

6. Payments and Fees Sartorial charges a 15% service fee on each rental transaction.

Renters pay the full rental amount plus any applicable security deposit before receiving the garment.

Owners receive rental payments minus Sartorial’s fees, typically after successful completion of the rental period.

All payments are processed in GBP (£).

7. Security Deposits and Damage Policy A refundable security deposit may be collected to cover potential damage or loss.

Renters agree to return garments in the same condition, clean and undamaged, except for reasonable wear.

Any damage beyond normal wear and tear may be deducted from the security deposit.

In case of loss or severe damage, the renter may be responsible for repair or replacement costs.

8. Shipping and Returns Owners and renters agree on shipping or handover details prior to rental. Sartorial provides guidance on shipping best practices but is not responsible for shipping delays or issues.

Renters must return garments promptly and securely by the agreed date. Late returns may incur additional fees.

9. Cancellations and Refunds Renters may cancel before the rental period starts subject to the cancellation policy shown on the listing.

Sartorial and owners reserve the right to cancel or refuse rentals for any reason.

Refunds are handled according to the cancellation terms and are subject to deductions for incurred costs or damages.

10. User Conduct You agree to use Sartorial lawfully and respectfully. Prohibited behavior includes fraud, misuse of platform, harassment, or listing counterfeit items.

11. Intellectual Property All content on Sartorial, including text, images, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Sartorial. Users may not copy or use content without permission.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability Sartorial acts as a platform connecting owners and renters. We do not own the garments and are not responsible for their condition or any issues arising from rentals.

We provide the service "as is" and disclaim warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Sartorial is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to rentals.

13. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England.
